“For we live by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7
How many times have you said, “I have a lot of faith,” only to feel like an imposter when you didn’t see what you were hoping for become real?
Too often we don’t go deep into the meaning of faith. We should learn to believe as if we already have what we are asking for and move forward intentionally. What I have learned over time is to believe for what is in God’s will for me, not just some random things or experiences that I haven’t prayed over or have peace about. I truly believe in taking one step at a time, one day at a time.
It can be overwhelming to constantly put your mind on things in the past, the future and things not in your control. Trusting God for direction in your life is key. He will order your steps. (Read Psalm 37:23.)
Keep believing our Father knows what’s best and has a great purpose for your life. Be willing to work towards what you believe in your heart. Learn to be ok with change. Challenge yourself to learn new things and fine tune your gifts. Embrace who you are always being shaped into and enjoy the journey. Walk by faith.
